Brake swap -is mandatory a Master Cyl swap?

I just swap my rear drum brakes with Integra disks. I also got the master cylinder of the Integra, but it doesn't seems to be too different thatn the one of my Civic DX. Maybe, just a little bit longer.
question is: is it necesary to swap the master cylinder at all. Brakes seem to work great now?

Thanks

I heard that the increased pedal travel isn't too reassuring with that particular swap. I'm getting the same done soon and I'm probably going to swap out the MC and booster.

Yup, go with the MC, booster, and do NOT forget the porportioning valve -- or you might as well just burn up $400 you just spent on your rear brakes when they are hardly even being used :finger:

Helluva lot easeier to change pads as opposed to shoes. And more importantly, they're better than drums. They're stronger so they'll put less strain on the front brakes, evening out the load. Your front discs won't have to work as hard.
