Dont worry about it my Avenger does that to. But it might help if you take your gas cap off and shake it and tap it against your hand. Theres a sensor in there that gets dirty and can cause that to come on. OR if you have a code checker take that and wipe that code clear and problem solved.

If you don't have a code reader any local automotive store such as checkers, autozone, or advanced auto parts should let you use theirs.

A friend of my (a mechanic) - just disconnects the battery for a bit & let the computer resets - usually does the trick, when my engine light comes on & off.

I have a service manual for Avengers. I think there is a self diagnostic you can do by turning the key: on, off, on, off, and back on. Then the check engine light will flash a message through "moors code" kind of. I can check my book also but there are two different check engine messages. One is a flashing one and the other just stays on. My book said something about it. I would just go to an auto store they usually scan for free. Disconnecting the battery is just temporary and if there is a problem the computer will detect it again, just kind of a trick on the computer to refresh it.
