To whom concern Crazy Modeler...

we are very sorry to see this thread.as a new design company,Crazy modeller's goal is to make high qualified products.

COPY?can you say Studio27 copys Scale Motorsport ,or Acustion copys studio27?They actually have too many similar products.

Crazy Modeller only design our products according to an authentic standard, the prototype models.
and all what we are doing is due to this principle.
our new decal,Marlboro of 1/12 Tamiya Ducati has been released ,which Studio27 or other companies have not producted.
Crazy Modeller will continually offer more original products.

We are very happy provide our sample products for free. All you need to do is just left your contact address, and give us some suggestion after tried. Because we are not only the designer, but also the hobby lover. We know the hobby lover's need, and we will try ours best for the best model products.

Re: To whom concern Crazy Modeler...

Is Crazy Modeler a person...or is that actually a name of a business?

Re: To whom concern Crazy Modeler...

Any responses that are not civil in this thread will be deleted. Act like adults or keep quiet.

I don't think the issue is releasing decal sheets of the same subject, that kind of thing happens all the time. It is simply not true that S27 copy SMS or Renaissance. The subject may be the same or similar but the artwork and details are their own.

The problem is one of copying the artwork of another manufacturer entirely with no original work or effort. In the past some people have definitely been guilty of this. If Crazy Modeller is to gain any respect they will only release their own designs in the future.

I hope that is the case and good luck to you.

P.S. Any way to make those graduations smoother on the Marlboro logos? One thing I'd love to see is a replacement decal sheet for Tamiya's McLaren MP4/13 with smooth graduations for the airbrushed livery. All those dots spoil it.

Crazy Modeler I want your decals to test

Hi Crazy Modeler,

I am willing to test your decals on our staff's model kits. Our shop will not go to any lengths to say your products are copies or not because really, all of these model kits are done to scale, and if every company tries to meet the scale requirements, everything would look the same anyway.

So, our shop and I are willing to test your decals on quality, ease of use and other technical details. If your samples are great in our quality and usability review, we will inform our customers based on this objectivity.

A great decal set to produce if you have access to references, is Valentino Rossi's NSR500 Mugello 2001, Hawaiian theme. That is very unique, and I don't think its on the market by anyone.

Please send your sample decals to:

Modelcrafters GP Co.
Attn: Vincent Wu
10620 River Drive
Richmond, BC V6X 1Z4
Canada

Thanks and happy modeling,
Vince, MGP Owner

I for one am a consumer, if I see a product that is better quality and cheaper price I am buying it. I would love to try your product if you have a website that I can browse through that would be great. As for whether or not the sheet has been copied from someone else I couldnt care less, that is for the copyright laws and lawyers to figure out. It does not appear to me that the sheets have been copied although they do have thier similarities, but don't all decal sheets, there can only be so many ways to split it up. And all sponsors logos look the same no matter what way you position it.

I guess there will always be a fine line that decal makers walk on. If Renaissance, SMS or S27 have a problem then they will have to sort it out amongst themselves. It's not up to us to point the finger and try and make it right. Just my 2 cents.

off topic but the theme you mention is on it's way from Renaissance! T/K and decals to represent this large gap in motorcycle modelling.
I don't mean to stop anyone else from doing the same, just informing on the subject.
best regards
Joel
