Pre-98 owners: What size of tire...
do you recommend?
A 265/70-16 or 265/75-16? I've ran 265/75's before, and they looked good but robbed a bit of power - however, they were tires off a 3/4 Dodge, and they were the "E" rated, 10-ply. If I get 265/75's I can get either 4 or 6 ply, which are 6-7# lighter then the old 265's I ran. What size of tire are YOU running?

255-70-16 Kumho Venture's. They're not quite as wide as I would like (on a 7 in rim), but overall look really nice.
They're definitely a teeny bit taller than the stock tires, and the acceleration definitely didn't get any better after installing them- but overall, look pretty meaty, low noise, and really nice ride. ...and dang cheap at $73 a tire. |

245/70/16 firehawk 500's
I've had them for about 6k and they are the best highway tire I've had so far. outstanding in the rain waiting for the snow to come
