Unhappy 1999 rodeo automatic transmission

I'm no mechanic for sure but, I have a 1999 rodeo automatic. It sounds good but the trans will only kick into drive if I press the winter button, and will work in reverse. Also the ABS light is on. I need help I can't trust any mechanic.

My 99 tranny went out at 125 K

I found a great mechanic that let me but an extended warrnty for $200

Guess what A tiny little part broke off in my tranny just after the standard warrnty went out but I was covered

Very sweet for me but crapy for the company $$$

Also your ABS light is a little sensor above the drivers rear wheel

I have not replaced mine after 40,000 miles and no probs. yet, just dont have any ABS, didnt like them any way

good luck
