94 sc1 engine light

Hello all!

I have a 1994 saturn sc1 1.9L. The 'service engine soon' light has been coming on intermitently during short drives. The first time I adjusted the spark plug wires and it went away. Stopping and turning the engine off and on makes it go away. The engine seems fine when the light is on. Any ideas what the trouble might be?
Thanks for your time

it could be your o2 sensor but you really need to get the engine code. good luck

Re: 94 sc1 engine light

a bad O2 sensor will cause a blinking SES light i beleave, not a steady one.

pull the code, and go from there- http://www.differentracing.com/tech_...diag_info.html
