Gas Mileage Drop!

I have a 93' escort, I been seeing a recent decline in mileage. I drive city/highway every week. I was getting around 31mpg, but now I am getting 26. I am not speeding up too fast, or braking too fast, I drive normal. It's not even cold weather out yet(michigan resident) and I don't use the heat. What could be my problem? Do I need to tune-up my car? I tuned it up last feb, i believe. Please someone help me, i getting a little frustrated.

Try using a fuel system cleaner such as lucas fuel system cleaner (which I have used and found helpful) Also change your oil check tire pressure. If you like to tinker check the condition of you plugs maybe clean them up (watch you dont take the platnum off) pcv valve could need replacement and finally you said you tuned it up last feb but what did you do and what did you use? Let us know if these tips hellp

How old is the 02 sensor? I've heard that will drop mileage.

All i did was replace the spark plugs and the wires, and the paper air filter into a K&N. The car has only got 75,000 miles on it, so maybe the 02 needs to be changed, and the PCV valve too. I just recently changed the oil and my tire pressure should be fine, but i'll check out the PCV valve and the 02 sensor.. Is there anything else I could do?
