gst is front wheel drive turbo and gsx is all wheel drive turbo. as far as like engine differences and other things, you'll have to wait for someone else to respond, I'm still a dsm newbie

Re: Mitsubishi eclipse 97-99

You mean the difference between models, or the model years?

A GST is front wheel drive turbo, GSX is all wheel drive turbo. No major differences between the years. All came with 2.0 DOHC 4G63 if it was turbo.

A search will yield plenty of information.

EDIT: I must type really slow.

Re: Mitsubishi eclipse 97-99

There is no such thing as a 97 - 99 Eclipse GT.
