Bomex/Blitz body kit

I recently purchased Bomex front bumper and side skirts and Blitz rear bumper from Racerwheel.Com.
I took it to a custom shop that puts body kits on all the time and they said that this is one of the worst body kits they've ever seen and they can't get it on, unless I want to pay a lot more than I planned.
The rear bumper came with all kinds of cracks and it even has indentions from the bubble wrap. Is this normal? Aren't they supposed to be smooth?
The side skirts fit so tightly that the guy said the doors would scratch the paint off the first time the door opened.
Also, the guy took the foam pad off to get the bumper on and it still didn't fit.
My hubby is in Iraq and his roommate puts body kits on and he's telling me to tell the guy at the shop to make it fit, that it's possible and he should've known that it would take a lot of work.
Should I exchange this particular kit for the same thing in hopes that I get one without bubble wrap indentions and cracks all over? Hubby is being very stubborn in that he wants this one and nothing else.
I need advice.

Re: Bomex/Blitz body kit

i hav a full bomexed kit on my eclipse. when you order kits there are 3 different grades; A, B, and C. A's are from shops and ussually fit very well. B's go to low end shops and SOMETIME consumers from websites. C's are just horrible and end up on ebay. If you send the kit back and have a performance shop order the same kit for you in your area you will get a better kit and they will be able to fit it easier for you.

Does anyone know any authorized Bomex/Blitz dealer? Also, how can you tell if you're ordering a good kit or a bad one over the internet?

you can probably go to the company's website and they should have a link for 'authorized retailers' or something like that.

IF you go to the Bomex website they have a link with all the authorized dealers in the United States. I was checking out the Bomex kits before because they are the hottest body kits out for the Eclipse!
