Peugeot 206 WRC 99 TdC Pictures (finally finished)

I'm quite new on this forum, and I'd like to share with you some work in progress pics of my work.
It's been a long time since I've built a model (5 years or so) so i've made many mistakes......poor me

Here we go with some CF decal applyed in the wrong way (one in one direction one in the other)

Then the semi completed interior....not so bad

And now a pic of the last little disaster.
The body was complete and i was quite happy with it, but yesterday it fell of my hands and the "esso ultron" decal in the picture was ruined on the left side.
I carefully painted the ruined side and then put some clear over it.
Now i'm waiting the clear to dry then I'll try a little polish...

And in the end some nice pics of the body....again quite happy with it:

welcome back to the hobby. Looks like a clean build and you did a good job at covering up that accident. Can't wait to see more!

Looking nice, have the same one, best libevery for the 206 IMO. Did you paint part of the hood blue os something. You can see some spraymarks and the color's off. Or is it just bad lighting?
Otherwise, it looks like a nice clean, uncluttered build.

Re: Peugeot 206 WRC 99 TdC Pictures and mistakes

I sayed it's my first work after a long time...lol
I've ruined another decal as you've seen, so i've painted blue part of the hood decal.
In fact you can see that the part around the right air intake is a little bit darker.
Anyway not very noticeable.
As i sad beeing the first from a long a time I'm quite happy with it.
Soon I'll post some other pics of the finished interior.

I've done some progress with the interior.
Not so bad.
I know the seat belt are fastened the wrong way to the rollbar but i don't really want to do it any other way since it's not supposed to be an highly detailed interior.

Time for a new update....next will be the last....LOL
I've finished the interior wit all its details and so the weels are done.

Here are some pics of the finished interior:

Here are the photo-etched wiper (modeler's), the air scoop and the mirrors covered both in carbon fiber decal and the rear spoiler.
Everything ready to be put on the body.

And finally a detail of the nice wheels...

Finally fineshed

I've just finished to build this nice car and i could say it came out pretty good (espcially because it's been 5 years since i built a model).
I've done some shoot so you can judge this work.
Please be kind....

Let me know what you think about it...
