my 1999 contour se

i have a 1999 ford contour se sedan,4cylinder.my timing chain had broke and got that fix.Now my car doesn't have any oil pressure and when its idling it will cut out and die.what could possibly be wrong with my car. I have been without a car now since april all because of the timing chain broke.The day the timing chain broke my car had started running like the oil wasn't getting up through the motor. what copuld possibly be wrong??? i need my car fix.The guy that has my car said it has a duel head over cam on it if that sounds right.i need help

you state you have a 4 cylinder?,cuz 4 cylinders have a belt and not a chain.who installed the belt for you?special cam and crank alignment tools are required to do the job right.if it has a chain, then you would have a v6 engine, and i believe that is an "interference" engine, unlike the 4 cylinder,in which case valves have personally met the pistons.
