2004 keyless entry remote
I have a 2004 venture and am trying to program a new remote. Bought the remote and instructions on ebay. Followed the instructions to the letter. Guess what- doesn't work. Help!

If so, I don't know what it is, unless it is signaling a problem somehow. If you leave the key switched on after the 5 chimes (for about a minute or so), do you hear any more chimes? All the manuals/instructions I have seen indicate that you will hear 2, 3, or 4 chimes when entering program mode, depending on what type of BCM you have. Maybe someone else will have some input. Take Care,
