rough riding when between 35 - 50 mph

Hello everyone! I'm hoping that I can get some suggestions because I'm nearing my wits end..... I bought an s 10 2.2 litre 1998 in January and must say that I've had nothing but bad luck with it....

it has 89,000 miles on it and I've replaced the fuel pump, starter, fuel filter, new tires, front rotors and pads replaced costing about $2000 canadian.... about 1.99 american....

the problem I now have with it is that when I'm up to about 35 mph the truck feels as it is running on a rough road... as soon as I get to over 50mph the feeling is gone and again as I slow it starts with that rough sound again.... the engine is very quiet I'm really fearing it has something to do with the transmission..... when I start to hear the noise I shift into neutral but the noise continues so I'm not sure if it is the transmission.... I change the rotors and pads myself and the brakes seem fine with no pulling either way or pulsating... would the bearings cause this?? those I didn't replace..... there doesn't seem to be any noise coming from the brakes as I regularly ride with my window down trying to hear anything...... the tires are new (just replaced them thinking that may be the problem but it wasn't) no engine light has come on so I'm not sure what to say.... it seems mechanical as opposed to electrical..... any suggestions would be gretaly appreciated thanx!!!

Whenever I see a vibration that is present only in a specific speed range, it is almost always the driveshaft U-joints. Check the U-joints or take it to a transmission shop or driveline shop. Depending on where you are, it should only cost $50-$80 to fix. If you do it yourself it might only be $12.
