service vechlie soon light

it only comes on during the day. but i just noticed i have a headlight out on the drivers side. will this cause the problem or is something eles wrong? the high beam works. if i turn the lights on instaed of auto the service light doesnt come on. any help out there.

Welcome to the forum. It sounds like a problem with your BCM. It is located under the dash on the passenger side, and it controls your lights. I would check the grounds, connections, ect; as it's a good leak-prone area.

how do i find it everthing is covered up also its a 2002 model

I have the 2002 model also. One of my low beam lights on the left side was out. As long as the bulb is not replaced the service engine soon light will always come on. Bye the way i took it to the shop to get it replaced because its hell getting to that light. I paid $15 service engine soon never came on again. That should solve you problem.

was it your engie light or vechlie lighy and how did u only pay 15 dollars

thanks for the help it was the headlight only cost me $8.55 it was easy to install
