Alarm system woes HELP!!!!

Ok, so a couple of weeks ago my keyless entry remote became harder to use, so i shut the car alarm off in fear that one day it wouldn't work. So later that week my transmission goes, and its in getting repaired. This transmission place disconnected my battery, and when they reconnected my battery they reset the alarm system, now this all could have been stopped if they had just hit the button on the dash but no, they went and tryed to start the car while it was armed. Thus setting it off into sequence. Now the problem is they can't get it to stop, and my keypad no longer works. They've tried disconnecting the battery during the sequence, and it just starts up when they reconnect it, they've tryed letting it run the sequence and it just starts up 30 seconds later. They can't complete the repairs on the transmission untilo they get get the car running, and the dealership is useless in the matter. I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO DISABLE THE CAR ALARM IN A 1998 INTRIGUE WITHOUT THE KEYPAD. any information on anything relating at all would be greatly appreciated.
