I need help overheating problem...

My Mr2 is overheating... i changed the waterpump... i took out the thermostat... and it is still overheating. Oil is fine no mixture of coolant and oil. I have air bubbles coming through the top of radiator cap... engine runs strong still until overheats... no hesistation in engine. It is also hitting boost on on the mark everytime i shift gears.

Sometimes i can go a couple weeks without overheating then it overheats a lot for a few days and then it stops overheating.

I am constantly putting fluid in there... I don't know what the problem is...

Oh my heater blows out hot air sometimes and then it switches to cold air. Then hot air again...

Could my heater core be the problem, clogged coolant system creating air pockets. or is it a blown hg... however it is not showing signs of a blow hg but you never know it could be it.

If it was a blown hg... i don't think it would take 2 weeks to overheat. Oh it overheats after i changed the oil everytime... anyways ya'lls input is much appreciated thank you

I suspect you just need to do a proper fill of your coolant. Have you been using the clear plastic lines in the frunk to vent out the air bubbles?

There is a specific procedure for getting the air out of an MR2s coolant system.

Exclamation I need parts

Any of yall have the following parts, i am looking for a restrain bumper the bumper holder bracket and a hood. I am houston an every single mr2 i found in a salvaje yard there are crash from the front.An i am having trouble holding my bodykit that is cracking all ready. Please give me good prices and close locations.

gvmmr2, the nozzle on the radiator that let's air out is only one of two. There is also one long the frunk firewall that let's air of the coolant as well. That one is at a higher location.

i did a proper test but my coolant still gets bubbles if you find the problem can you let me know cheers

system definately has air in it. heater will go cold when the heater core doesn't have liquid in it.

you shouldn't get bummbles. suspect head gasket.
