Good engine book

For those of you who aren't sure what cam shaft to get for your car or what the specifications for a cam mean like lobe separation, or maybe what size heads you should get and why bigger is not better, plus anything else you'd want to know when building up your motor. Lingenfelter's book on how to build a chevy small block is awsome. I got it a few weeks ago and I just go through it every once in a while and its very interesting and informative. Just wanted to recomend this book to you guys.

Re: Good engine book

sounds interesting but also sounds like V8s only. It'll probablly be a while before I'm driving one of those.

Re: Good engine book

V8's are pretty much all thats talked about but its all the same concepts. A motor is a motor. But I do see your point that it would be harder to apply it to a 6 cylinder.
