1989 Blazer

Hey there, I was wondering if anyone knew of a year and model that my friend can switch a swing out back door for thier tailgate of an 89 blazer they broke thier window twice now and want to modify somehow. Any help would be great!!!

I've only ever seen 1 broken back window in a Blazer, and that was smashed by a theif.

If he's broken 2 of them he's either doing something wrong like slaming the tailgate onto the window, or there's something not quite set up right back there

I saw some newer Jeeps that look like the gate swings sideways.

The best mod would probably be from that new Honda pickup, since the tailgate opens both sideways and down
