97 Jimmy Question

I just started having and odd problem the other day. While driving at about 50 mph I felt as iff i was losing power. I tried to push the gas pedal in and nothing, eventually it kicked back in and it was fine. A few minutes later it did it again but this time I lost power..I noticed that my check gages, battery and airbag light were on. I pulled over and re-started and it ran as normal. The SES light did not kick on or anything and I just replaced the alternator a few months ago. I checked the battery cables, alternator cables, fuse panel and everything was fine. Could this possibly be related to my ignition switch going bad??

Re: 97 Jimmy Question

Could very well be the ignition switch, also check your grounds...But likely the ignition switch..

Well, I changed the ignition switch and my truck ran for 1 day. went to leave work and it would not start, When i turn the key into the on position, I don't hear the Fuel pump priming the system, I attempted to bank on the tank to try and get it to fire and still nothing. Any one have a suggestion before i attempt to replace the fuel pump??
