radio code

94 3000gt. i have the radio code, but it just says off cause my stupid brother thought it would be a good idea to just guess. so now it just says off. I unhooked the battery overnight, but it still says off, does anyone know how to get the codE screen back?

i think you have to leave the key in the on position for like an hour

wont that kill my battery? is there any other way? man, u think they would make some easier way.

I'm pretty sure you have to disconnect the radio at the harness and reconnect it. The code screen should come on again.

correct! put the key in the ignition, turn it to the ON position (but don't start your car), and leave it there for an hour. ohh, and make sure not to lock your keys in the car , that's what i did!

this is how you reset your radio so that you can enter the security code. this is what the guy at the dealership told me to do, and after doing this it worked.

you can turn the car on....its just a matter of time...doesn't have to be all at once...just have to drive around for an hour total, until it says code again.

yeah, the key has to be in though and the radio turned on for that clock to run down... had that problem working on a volkswagen
