Exclamation Aftermarket Rim Confusion!!!!!!

Hey guys,,,
I been trying to get some aftermarket wheels for my 98 nb...
I have some 17 inch nakayama kodama's that i been trying to sell but the other day wanted to see if they'll go on.
Well, the bolt is too fat to stick in the rim..
Is there any other way to get the rim on the car? conversion kit etc.?
Also, if i order rims from a company, do i still use BOLT instead of lugs.. ie.conversion kit to lugs?
thanks
Im really cunfused and frustrated...

Personal choice but I'd stay away from aftermarket unless you buy a good name.
Also stay away from 40 sersies tires on a N.B. You'll hammer your wheels and it won't be a nice ride - I don't care what anyone says - you'll feel it!
And - Sooner or later you're going to nail a set of train tracks without seeing them coming...

I put Audi TT Fat Fives with 45's on my N.B. Convertible. Stock lugs and stock diameter. No clearance troubles and the car handles nicely, rides like stock and the wheels fill the fenders perfectly for a great look. These wheels are forged, not cast so they're as strong as 4x4 rims and readily available in the used market. Expect to pay around 1000 or 1200. for a nice set with rubber.

aftermarket rims require different lug studs. its 5x100 i believe or 5x114 i forget

Re: Aftermarket Rim Confusion!!!!!!

Appreciate the help!!
yea, i know that 40 series ride like crap. I had a malibu on 40's...
The lugs are frustrating me. I think i might go up to the dealer. I know audi and some vw rims look nice but im looking from chrome...
im sure you understand veeDUBmechanic.. lol
