99 Suburban Garage opener??
I recently purchased a 99 Burb with no owners manual and I am having a heck of a time trying to figure out how to program the Garage Door Opener then is in the overhead console. Does anyone know how to program this thing?
Thanks in advance. |

Re: 99 Suburban Garage opener??
I got the Owners manual online in .pdf format from the GM site, just set up an account for the GM Owners group and was able to find it. Printed it out at work (really big) didn't cost a thing.

Re: 99 Suburban Garage opener??
I am assuming you have the universal one with 3 buttons. Take your existing garage door opener, hold it as close as you can to the 3 buttons hold down the transmit button on you old GDO then push and hold the button you want to use until the red light flashes.
I dont think the universal transmitter will work with new GDO that have the security plus features. Good luck |
