b18c1 GSR

SO i HAVE DECIDED TO GO WOITH A B16C1 MOTOR AND AN LS TRANNY. i WANT TO BUILD THE MOTORAND AM ASKING FOR SOME HELP. i WANT TO PUT JE PISTONS AND EAGLE RODSAND SLEEVE IT WITH GODZILLA SLEEVES. HOWEVER, I WANT TO RUN TURBO AND WANT TO KEEP IT AS LOW COMPRESSION AS POSSIBLE. SO WITH THAT BEING SAID IS THERE ANY PARTICULAR BORE OR MM SIZING THAT WOULD HELP ME DO THIS? THAT'S IT FOR THE BLOCK.

AS FOR THE HEAD, I WAS THINKING ABOUT USING A SKUNK2 STAGE 2 STREET VALVE KIT WITH DUAL SPRINGS, TITANIUM RETAINERS, ETC. I WANT TO USE THE SKUNK2 STREET CAM OR A CROWER CAM WITH GOOD ADJUSTABLE CAM GEARS. YET AGAIN, IS THERE ANY PARTICULAR PORTING AND/OR MM SIZING, OR ANYTHING THAT SHOULD BE DONE TO THE HEAD BEFOREHAND THAT I SHOULD USE OR DO?

THE TURBO IS A TASK IN ITSELF, I WAS THINKING ABOUT A GREDDY KIT. BUT THEY ARE QUITE EXPENSIVE. I KNOW I CAN FIND A CHEAPER KIT IF I CONTINUE TO LOOK BUT I DONT WANT TO GET ONE THAT IS NOT FOR MY BUILD. SO PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS.

ALSO, SINCE I AM ALREADY HERE, WHAT IS A GOOD SUSPENSION SETTUP FOR A 96 CIVIC. HAVENT REALLY BEEN FOCUSSING ON THAT ASPECT OF IT TOO MUCH.

few things:
-I used to do this on accident too sometimes but, turn the CAP LOCK OFF!
-How can you say a greddy kit is too expensive???
They are one of the cheapest quality kits out there, mainly due to the fact that they don't come with an intercooler. About the only way to get a cheaper quality kit is to get a "junkyard turbo kit" ie: new manifold and tubing meant for your car but like a dsm turbo and injectors and then a cheap engine/fuel management
-Skunk 2 products are severly over priced! and the custoimer support sucks!
as for the suspension:
-shocks & springs maybe a true coilover kit if you can afford it
-Front and rear tower bars
-front and rear swaybars
a performance oriented tire will also help in the handling department.

Re: b18c1 GSR

if a greddy kit is too expensive for you then you need to rethink what you want to do to your car
