2003 1500 electrical problem possible keyless entry

i have a 2003 1500. the wipers, high beam on headlights, horn and turn signals do not work. low beam works and turn signals show to be working on dash. this started at the same time we put a new battery in the keyless entry. at one point the head lights would flash off and on, when you started it, but it quit doing that. any help would be appreciated.

I have a 2002. Last night I forgot where I parked so I used the Panic button on the remote to locate the truck.
Started driving and the lights would go on and off while driving, then suddenly the horn beeped for a short second and the wipers moved about half way and went back to normal resting spot.

Got home and these are the symptoms
- Headlights only come on when the ignition is turned on
- If you turn the headlight switch only (with ignition off) the dash lights up, headlights do NOT come on
- Turn signals show up working on the dash but do NOT actually light up -- same for HAZ lights
- Windshield wipers and wash do NOT work
I figured it was the module in the steering column that control the wipers, wash, HAZ lights and High/Low for the headlights, but…

Then I noticed that on my top instrument cluster it does NOT read the outside temperature anymore, instead of digits is shows 2 dashes (- -)

Any clue what this could be? Lonniepro88 I know your post was a while back, did you get it figured out?

The dealer told me it would cost $85.00 just to check it out, and that he had never heard about this.
