Re: Integra blown engine

Yea H22a1 are complicating and are costly but if you have the money and know what your doing then its not going to be all that complicating...there are many H22 swap guides out there so i recommend you read one...and yes H22a are vtec...just look at the valve cover and it should say vtec...if not then check to see if its a H23...

Look for the engine code on that plate, it's located right at the seam where the block meets the transmission.

If it's a H23, then it's not worth the time or $ to do the swap. For a Honda engine it has a lot of torque (156), but it'd still be better to just do a b-series swap.

It's hit or miss with that company. I've read a few good things about them, but have read even more negative. A friend of a friend bought a b16a from then, and his experience went along with all the negative posts. His engine was dirty as hell (the inside, not just the outside), and he was missing quite a few parts as well. And most of the good things I read about them were from customers who actually went to their shop and picked out their own engines (instead of just haveing a random one shipped).
But along with hmotors, passwordjdm.com and jhpusa.com are good ones from what I've been told.
