If you search there will be a topic on this but with an h22 that i made. It has some forums that Blu Civic found for me on there. Im ordering my adapter plate this week and ill have some pics up for you guys. Going to be the best 900 bucks spent on my car.

Re: h32a1 swap in crx?!?

well from what ive heard is this. the swap isnt worth it becuase its a heavy ass motor. besides the k series stuff is more accessible then h and f seriosu for 4th gens. so either do a k series or go straight up frankenstien b series.

Yeah the K series is the new hotness. I have a feeling in a couple of years I will be doing a K swap. I will wait for a few young ricers to blow up mommies RSX first.

Re: h32a1 swap in crx?!?

From all of the stuff that i have read if you are using a b series tranny it is not that much heavier than a gsr or itr. Plus you are getting a motor with some torque compared to the b16. 200Hp 161Trq 10.6 Compression (JDM) for the h22 and 160Hp 111Trq 10.2 Compression (JDM) for the b16a1. That is 40 hp and 60lbs of torque. Thats some big numbers. In a lightweight car that will get you down that track in a good time especially with the short geared b16 tranny. I talked to Seth (the guy from quarter sports drag) and he was telling me about customers whos cars with the ys1 b16 tranny and the jdm h22 that were running mid 13's stock. Now imagine 1500 in bolt ons what that would do. I dont know mabye its just me wanting to be different from everybody else and wanting to try something out that not to many people have.
