Air Check Valve?
I've just bought a 01 Aurora with the 3.5 I've been getting the little things worked out that it has needed. I've replaced the Air Pump since the Check Engine Light was on. The new Pump was on for about a Month and it started to whine, so I took it off and exchanged it for another one. Now the new one seems to be getting a little loud. The tubes that go to the pump have moisture in them... I assume that is condensation from the exhaust since I haven't drove it in the rain.
Could it be that I have a bad Air Check Valve? How do I check them? I also notice a rough idle. I've taken the Throttle Body off and cleaned it, which it needed. I put new plugs in. I noticed a little oil in one of the plug holes. I also run a can of injection cleaner through it. Thanks for any Help! |
