Alloy wheels

if i changed my alloys from 14" to 17" will i have to get it programed for the speedo

The speedo is not affected by rim OD. The speedo will be affected by tire OD. if you keep the tire OD. the same as long as the width of the tire clears all wheel well openings and suspention components you should be fine.

wheel od would be a better way of saying it, keep the wheels the same height and you'll be fine.
