Question Check engine light

I have a 2002 Crown Vic. The sensors have all been replaced but the check engine light will not go out. You can unplug the sensors and replug and it will stay out for about 40 miles and then it will come on again. Can you give me any advice about what to do next?

Re: Check engine light

Have the code read and post back the exact code numbers. You can also have some place erase the code and see how long it takes for it to come back.

Re: Check engine light

No problem. You can go to a store like Autozone and they will read the codes for you. Do not let them sell you any parts yet. Just get the exact code numbers and post back hete. The codes should be something like P0300 or P1400.
