hey travis 118

Hey..I'm doing the ZC swap in a month or so and I noticed on your website that you had a DC header...did you get the one for the 4th G civic and port match it?? cause I talked to a guy at DC sports and I couldn't get the top piece from a 89 teg and the downpipe from a 4th g civic I would have to buy both set of headers...so what did you do??

and do you have any tips for the swap?? thanks!

yeah i bought the dc header for the 4g and then grinded the inside to match the block. Also on the block itself the header will hit the two little tabs that are on the head...to get around that i just stuck the part of the header that was hitting those tabs on a grinding wheel and grinded away a little of the header.... real simple and fits like a glove now.

thats what I thought...was it hard...I would do it but my bigest fear would be that I would screw it up...did you use just a dremel tool or something simular to that?

i used a dremel and a grinding stone that you put in a drill for the port matching. But for the part that had to clear those little tabs on the head, i used an 6 inch grinding wheel. (it was cool, lots of sparks:shocked: )
