Exclamation Stealth CV joints

I've got a 92 stealth with a 93 transmission in it. This wouldn't be such a big deal if it wern't for the difference in the amount of splines on the CV joint and trans, CV being 22 and the Trans being 25. I've had no end of trouble in finding a set of 93 CV joints. Everywhere I go they want the vin # to locate the correct part, I give them the one off my car bt because its a different year than the trans its proven to be no good.
Does anyone have some there willing to sell? or know of someone or some parts place that can help?

My stealth is a 92, Front WD, 5 speed, SOHC V6. I beleive it the ES model it that makes sence.

Re: Stealth CV joints

try junk yards or just go to an auto parts, store or dealership, and tell them you need a set of 93 cv joints.

Re: Stealth CV joints

go to NAPA. the cv joints for a 93 are less than 100 each. if they want a vin tell then it is a 92 car with 93 trans and your vin wont help them. IF they still wont look them up for you, tell them you will keep your money adn find a different store.

I've checked most all wrecking yards in washington that would stock stealths and come up with nothing. Dealer ship has only proven useful for raising my blood pressure. Haven't been into NAPA to ask, went to Schucks / Checker, their stupidity scares me..... But I'll find a NAPA at lunch.
