ls tranny on a b16a motor swap......
i have a 96 integra ls with a 2nd gen jdm b16a swap with a ls transmission....
it lags so much to pick up speed... but once its in vtec it pulls hard... so far my mods have intake/header/exhaust... 8 lb flywheel act cltuch.. would tuning on a wide band be able to make the car rev up faster maybe pull harder... i really dont have the money to fork out for a b18c1 or b16a tranny is there anyway to make this motor pull hard with the ls tranny? |

Re: ls tranny on a b16a motor swap......
your flywheel is the bigest help you can do really.
LS trannys blow on b16s like no other. get a matching tranny its all you really can do. Its due to the gearing you'll always be struggling to make enough troque with such long gears. b16s never pull hard esp with a long tranny. Just start saving up for a b16 tranny. |
