Bouncing Tech Needle.
I have A 1990 Civic. The tech seems to have a intermittent problem of going on and off, when I het a bump. Anyone else have this problem, and how did you fix it?

Re: Bouncing Tech Needle.
Could be the dizzy. When I had that problem I pulled it and the blue wire was corroded. the tack works fine with the new one (had to replace it for other reasons)

Re: Bouncing Tech Needle.
yea, i'm almost certain it's related to the distributor. atleast i know that when my ignition coil was going, the tach would go crazy and start bouncing as if it was getting random surges of power and whatnot whenever i accelerated really quickly or hit a bump.

Re: Bouncing Tech Needle.
Ignitor and or coil.
Soon your car will stop working. Mine did that about 3 months ago, it worked for about a week or two and then it just broke. So I replaced the ignitor and the coil.
