WIP: RX-7, D1 style

Hey guys,

Just used carbon fibre decal for the first time.
And i think it came out really good. Its very tempting to carbon fibre everything!!!

The car is an efini rx-7 that i'm slowly turning into an D1 Apexi look alike. Guess I'll make some decals up.
I CF'd the bonnet before I thought of the bonnet vents. oh well.

The front bumper has been shaped similar to the apexi. I used the sideskirts that came as extras with the panspeed rx-7.

It is nowhere near been complete (as all my models seem to be).
It has been lightly primered.

The racing harts aren't been used. I'm using modified 19" junction scaras instead with dark centres.

Feel free to comment.

Re: WIP: RX-7, D1 style

Thanks,
Close up of CF. I think it is dark enough. Will be cleared.
I was suprised at how well and easy it was applied.
I was dreading creases and bubbles but they all spread out.

These are the wheels and the wing I will be using:

At the moment the rear bar is stock except for a larger exhaust cutout.
Haven't decided if the rear bar will stay stock yet.

(My monaro has been cast - haven't got pics yet!!)
