another blonde joke !

[2.2 Straight six]

sorry if oyu've heard it before, but i really like it. and it's a bit long.


a blone and a brunette inherit their father's farm when he passed away. but he wasnt very prosperous and all he had when he passed away was the farm, a pick-up truck with trailer, a cow and $1,000.

the blonde and the brunette are determined to make the farm work and be profitable. but after a week they find it's hard to make money in a business they know little about. but they realise that they can breed off the cow and try to make some money.

but after another week they're not very far, they have no bull to mate with the cow, and they've spent $500 on food etc..

the brunette realises they need to get a bull, they need to start breeding as soon as possible, so she goes into town to inquire about where she can get a bull. one of the locals tells her of a farmer in the area that's got his prize bull up for sale, but doesn't know how much it will cost her.

the brunette returns to the farm an thinks about it, she decides that they need to save as much money as they can. so she decides that she'll have to walk the few miles to the other farm to talk to the man selling his prize bull, to save fuel in the truck.

she tells her sister that if she decided to buy the bull she'll have a telegram (?) sent so the sister can bring the truck to collect the bull. so the brunette takes the last $500 and sets off towards the other farm.

she gets there about two hours later and meets the other farmer, she inquires about the price of the bull and he says $500. she tells him that she has no more than $500 but needs to keep some for supplies etc.. but he doesn't really care. thinking he's a bit of a joker he says he'll sell the bull for $499 an that's his final offer. so with no other options the brunette agrees to pay the $499 he wants. the woman asks if she can keep the bull at his farm until the pick-up and trailer get there to collect it, and she explains she needs to inform her sister that she has the bull and needs he sister to drive the truck down.

so the brunette walks into the local town and goes to see if she can have a telegram sent, the man there says the first word will cost $1 and every one after that will cost $0.50. she explains the situation abd that she has only $1 but needs to tell her sister to bring the truck. but the man wont drop the price of the message.

the brunette sits and thinks for a bit, she wonders how she can get the message to her sister, but she's too tired to walk back to her farm. suddenly the brunette has an idea and rushes over to the counter.

"i've got it" she says, "i know what to send !"
the man looks at her an laughs "how are you going send a message like you need for $1 ?"

the brunette tells him to send to word "comfortable" to here sister.

"how the hell will she know what you mean ?" inquires the man.
"my sister's blonde" says the brunette "she'll read it slowly"
