Crankshaft Pulley Holding Tool
Hi,
I am planning to replace the timing belt on my 92 Accord (195k miles, still the original TB). The manual says that I need a special tool to hold the pulley and use another socket to break loose the center bolt. The dealer has the tool but it's pretty expensive. I would like to know what kind of tool you guys use for this task and where do you buy it? Thanks. |

Re: Crankshaft Pulley Holding Tool
I have a crank pulley holder but never use it. I use a 3/4" impact gun for crank bolt removal. Those bolts can be hard as hell to remove with hand tools. Some parts stores may be able to rent you a pulley holder.
