Lightbulb motor question noT hard

94 Dodge Pickup- What Motors Are Good On Gas?? And Wat Motor Sould I Stay Away From When Buying ????

All full size pickups suck gas (b/c of the weight), might as well buy the one with the biggest engine and enjoy the power.
All of the motors in the '94 Dodge full size get about the same mileage except the V10, it can be significantly worse than the others.

My 94 with the 318 gets around 12 MPG driving around town, it's not stock though. Engine has been rebuilt with a bigger cam, dual exhaust, and a K&N air intake system.

I've heard of people getting up to about 18mpg with either the 5.2 or 5.9, but they had tall gears and stock tires.

My dad's 91 gets about 14 on the highway (no overdrive)
