Lightbulb 350z compared to 300zx

This car is awsome, way to go Nissan. I am so happy that the z is back. I am a very proud owner of a 300zx twin turbo. I love driving my car, I never get bored of it. I just had a few disapointments with the new z. I thought it would be way faster than the 300zx. What happen to the turbo's. Nissan says the 350z does 0-60mph in about 5.5 seconds. Well the 300zx does that as well. Dont get me wrong though, I still love this new z. I hope they come out with an asspirated model.

When you say asspirated you mean that you hope that they produce a 350Z with forced induction such as a turbo or a supercharger, right? I'd sure like to see a turbo version of the 350Z, and if Nissan doesn't produce one, you can bet that there will be turbo kits produced for the naturally aspirated 350Z.

I thought he meant "aspirated" as in "to inhale". Naturally aspirate cars don't use blowers or turbos -- basically ways of forcing air into the combustion chambers.

Perhaps he really did mean "ass pirated" and just left out a space <g>.

:smoker: the new 350 z is ok but in my opinion the 300 zx it looks
much better. The 350 z looks like sporty VW bettle too bad they didn't think about improve the z car

I know you mean Forced Induction! There will be complete Turbo kits and supercharger kits available on the aftermarket scene much quicker than anyone thinks. Also I believe that Nissan will probably offer it on future models to appeal to the people who can't live without 300+ horsepower. I used to own a 1994 300TT and it was a hell of alot of fun, but provided the same performance as the naturally aspirated 350Z. I believe the interior and exterior of the 350 are more appealing.

Add forced induction. WATCH OUT!

Yea the 350z may have the same 0-60 times as the 300zx twin turbo, but think about it, does a 300zx come with a 6-speed.

I'm pretty sure that Nissan isn't going to release a turbo charged version of the 350...but I heard Nismo is going to have kits available pretty soon (not sure if Turbo or Super).

The reason the 350 isn't faster than the 300zx is because the 300 is TWIN TURBO...drop a turbo in the 350 and see what happens

Thumbs up 350Z's are Decent 350ZXs would be better

the 350z is a great car, Nissan's goal was to keep the price down and the preformance high , and i think they totally acomplished that plus they managed to keep the car looking damn sexy too. Nissan has faithfully revived the Z Car. It hurts to say this but i Honestly dont think Nissan Is ever going to throw a Forced Induced version , it would completely go against there goal. The only reason for nissan to make the 350Z a turbo version would be to compete against the best and make it a flagship just like it's fore father the Z32 was. But nissan has a new flagship and it's presence is already starting to be felt all over the US and its called SKYLINE R35. The Skyline is already Poping up all over the US in sheeps clothing (Infinity G35) wait till the Big Bad Wolf comes out and reveals himself in full GT-R trim. The Skyline and Z share platforms and they say the skyline will probably come standard with the infinity Q45's 4.5L V8 pushing more than 350Hp and that the optional engine would probably be a Twin Turbo, Twin Intercooled 400Hp+ VQ35.thats why there's no real point for nissan to turbo charge Z, plus they removed X from ZX this is very important the X was put in with the 280Z in the 70's making it 280ZX why Becuase that year it came with the option of a turbo ,NO X Means No Turbo 350ZX woulda been the shit. I think the new Zcar is just Great the way it is and is going to relocate nissan on the sportscar map of the world ,
