1997 pa

cut off on me and did not start up let it sit for a day started and i turned it off tried it again about 2 hours later would not start put it on the scanner and it did not read any codes was told it was the fuel pump can u tell me what the car will do if it needs a fuel pump please help

Get a pressure tester on it and check for fuel pressure!!
