Beefing up my 3.8L

I have a '00 3800 series II 3.8L and I was just wondering what it would take to beat someone with a trans am. I thought it would be cool as hell to race someone, kick their ass, and then be like yeah, and I have a V6.

The best mod is to sell the car and buy a trans am, yourself.. You'd need quite a bit of work, and if you were responsible with modding/racing a car, one would think you'd know what to do to making fast.

I don't know what the 'II' stands for in the 3800 series, but if yours is supercharged, then a 75 shot should put it in trans am territory from a roll. I know that they can handle that much on stock internals, but I doubt your tranny will thank you.

If your's is NA, you have work ahead of you....
