Question Performance coils

Where is a good place to get performance coil packs for a 97 cavalier with the 2.2? I know msd has some, but i think with thoes you have to buy the ignition system thing to. What are some other good ones?

Re: Performance coils

Accell and MSD are good ones. You don't have to get the DIS-2 from MSD to run the coil pacs. The new ones are just plug and play. I've been tempting myself with getting the MSD blaster coil pacs, but i have some other money issues right now.

whats the point of getting performance coil packs without getting the rest of the ignition system..all your doing by getting coils and not the rest is...how would i explain this...your coil packs could handle more but they you arent making your ignition system any better...it would be like
buying a university level reading book for a kid in pre-school expecting him/her to be smarter before they even learned how to read...one just doesnt work without the other...

if your gonna buy the coils your gonna have to buy the ignition system if you want to notice a gain
