what size carb

what size carb should i put on my 350? like 600 or 650, or what? also, anyoen have any suggestions on what kinda carb i should get if i want it to go a little easy on the gas, but still boost the power? thanks guys - danny

I would say go with the 600 if the 350 is stock. Also, I suggest an Edlebrock, they're easy to put on and adjust. A lto less trouble than a Holley.

Re: what size carb

I would use the 750 Quadrajet that came stock on many small and big blocks including your year. They have small primaries for good throttle response and fuel economy with large secondaries for power. Since they can be tuned to easily supply 500 HP motors I have never seen a reason to buy anything else.

hey, thanks for the advise from you guys! its much appreicated. now, about the quadrajet, theres a phase 1 and a phase 2...which oen do yout hink would be best for mainly street driving since this car will probably be my almsot daily driver?
