What Kind Of Gas Mileage Are You Guys Getting?

I was wondering what king of gas mileage you guys are getting from your Bravadas? I have a 1997 with a 4.3 Liter V6. I seem to get around 19mpg on the highway and 16mpg with a combo of highway and city driving. This seems a little low as I drive around 65 mph when on the highway. I am hoping that a tune up with new plugs, air filter, ect will help improve my mileage.

I have a 94, and I just computed mine. I mainly drive on the freeway, and I get about 20-21 mpg, and I would say around 17 city.

I recommend a magnetic fuel saver, or perhaps that tornado fuel saver for your air intake. I haven't tried any, but my friend who has a blazer has shown me that he has been getting around 25 mpg freeway with the magnetic one.

I get around 20 mpg mixed hiway/city with my '92.
Wife gets about 15 city in the '97...stab-n-steer tailgater, should be on a racetrack or sentenced to 25 years of driver school...lol

lol, they say men get in more accidents than women, but in all my near-crash experiences, it was almost always a woman running a red-light, speeding in an suv, or cutting me off. I guess they feel empowered in trucks because they sit higher or something. All I know is I've never been an accident, and neither has my dad or grandfather, but my mother, sister and grandmother have all been in at least 2 accidents.

I've got a 99 - I can get 21-22MPG on a level highway, 19-20 when it gets hilly. City averages around 16-17.

Knock about 2-3 MPG off those numbers when my wife is driving.

in my '92 i'm geting around 18 in city driving and as high as 24 on the highway. drive like an old man, use good gas, coast to stoplights and you can improve your mileage almost a whole half of a percent on these engines.

hey Toolwise, i asked my insurance agent once about why guys were charged more for insurance then the gals. he said the women get in more accidents, but at lower speeds. gals kill cars but don't usualy kill people, guys kill people and cars and the insurance people price their policies accordingly.

well, I can see where that'd be true, especially in SoCal where I live. So many illegal drivers who go pain-stakingly slow, causing many citizens to have road rage. They apparently drive slow to avoid an accident, but they cause so many more.

noooooo do not do that those are just a scam magnets dont do a thing to fuel and the tornado actually decreases gas milage if u are looking for incerases go with a k&n and a proformance exhaust i get some where between 20-25 highway and city
