Re: Reggaeton

I love every genre of music in the world. Anyone can name a gendre, and I can name someone in it that I listen to regularly. There is one genre of music, however, that I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT STAND! And this is it. I'm not saying everyone else should hate it, and I'm not even saying people that sing it are bad. I just hate it. Hate it, hate it, hate it!! I have been known to feign headaches when it comes on. I have given up hope on my favorite hip-hop station, because they play this so much. I HATE REGGAETON!! I even like reggae...just not a TON of it. HAHAHA...that was retarded.

If you didn't get the point, I hate reggaeton. Don't know why. Couldn't tell ya.

I'm moving to England. Maybe I'll forget I ever heard it.

Edit - I would explain, but I'm biased, so this may be a bit inaccurate. It's music that makes the world sound as if it's coming to an end. These musicians have taken samples of nails on blackboards, rakes on concrete, and children's incessant whining and combined them for an effect of hell in album form.

Re: Reggaeton

Mmk.

If you don't like this kind of music, then why waste bandwidth posting about how you dont like it?

That being said, anyone care to actually answer my question?

Re: Reggaeton

Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Cheka, Zion y Lennox, Luny Tunes, and NORE seems to be. These are the biggest artists that make it past the Hispanic stations. I live in Fla so of course I know about. it's alright...I can listen to it, but not constantly, like i can...pretty much any other type of music.

The main problem with it is, it literally all sounds the same. To put it in simple terms...it's Rap and Reggae Latino style.

Ya I noticed that too the other day, it does all have an identical beat. I downloaded like 5 songs by those artists you listed, clicked into each of them about halfway throught the song, and it was the same beat. Not a bad beat, but Reggaeton is not something you can make a whole CD full of. Thanks for the info though!

Actually Nore is not currently. I was watching a bit of 106 and Park and Big Tig mentioned that Nore's next CD will be Reggaeton.

SPEAK ENGLISH MAN!!!

Ok, whatever...I just know they're done some with others. really though, if you're lookin for reggaeton, search Ares or w/e you have and go for the reggaeton remixes. They're so0o0o0o0o much better than having a bunch of reggaeton songs. My have is a Eminem and Shaggy remix with Eye of the Tiger. It's so sweet!

Yeah im with Nicole here.. Reggaeton is really annoying.. It's literally the only type of music I will not listen to unless im in someone else's car, and they choose to be a dick about it. The one thing I hate is the fact that it is literally the same beat, so what's not annoying about that?
