stock radio
friend of mine has an 88' corrola and the radio doesnt work at all, its tottaly dead, everything else works, air kicks on, lights all work etc. just the radio is dead, im not too familiar with these types of cars. i checked all the fuses and they all are good, i was wondering if maybe anyone had any wiring diagrams or pics of what it could be. thanks.

hey man, sorry nobody posted yet! ive got a 2002 corolla, im sure the wiring setup is somewhat different, but ive replaced all the stereo components in my car. in mine, there are a few wiring harnesses attached to the back of the reciever. these are the only wires, besides for the antenna (or subwoofer or amp (if connected)). check the connections on these harnesses. sometimes they need to be cleaned a little to get a decent connection. there should also be a seperate fuse for the radio/stereo.

In mine the radio itself has the fuse plugged straight into the back of the head unit. right next to the wiring harness
