Speedmeter problem

The Speedmeter of my 94 Civic EX is 10 miles above the normal speed, when I am driving at 70 mph it show me 80 mph, speed sensor?. Any idea.

Have you changed your tire size?

When I bought the car it came with tires 185/65R14.

I am not sure of the stock size,,,,,,but changing the tire size will change the speedo. I am sure someone here can tell you the stock tire size.

that is the stock tire size. most likely its your VSS. You're not getting a code 17 are you?

My engine light is ok, the car runs perfect, thats the only problem I have now, maybe something wrong with the ECU (Programming), I'm just trying to find out.
