2003 accord radio display went out

Hello,

I have a 2003 Honda Accord 2 dr coupe EX. The display on the factory stereo recently went out. The headlights and other cluster lighting works fine, it's just the stereo that has lost the display.

Is this a quick fix? Is the backlighting controlled by a fuse, or is it something inside the headunit iteself.

Any help would be appreciated.

I also have a 2003 Accord EX Coupe and had the same problem. They had to replace the radio.

Same problem with my 2003 Accord EX Sedan..... took to the dealer and replaced entire unit.... took dealer about an hour to complete... I think their might be a bulletin about the back light on the radio but not sure. I hope it doesn't happen again because I don't want to pay for it, was under warrenty.

I would call dealer with your code, it's on the radio - right hand side - and get them to order a refurbished one. You won't get a new one though... I asked..

yea the cars is still under warrenty so why even bother to fix it yourself.
