I just bought a 0-200 KPH Cluster Off ebay. I was said to be 1988-1989. I got it and it has has the same two multi cable pins as my old one. My old one is with tach, however my old one also has some add on module with a 4 or 5 pin plugged into it. The 0-200 KPH does not have that module on it. When I remove my cluster and plug in the new one I get nothing, no lights, no start, no nothing. I pulled it and put my old one back in and its all working. Is there any site or how to CRX website that goes over clusters and swaps and how to do it? Definitely not a plug and play on my 1989 CRX. My existing one is being replaced because the clear plastic cover is gone and I thought the 0-200KPH would be kool. Thanks for any help or pointers.

Re: CRX Instrument Cluster Swaps
the "add on module" is the cause of no worky on the new one. try swapping the add on over to the new one and all should be golden. i have an 88 that didn't have the extra on the back, and i swapped in an 89 cluster with the extra. at first it didn't work, so i swapped the dash harness over to match the new cluster and all was good. sooooo. swap the "add on module" to the new cluster. i can't remember at the moment wut exactly the extra thing is for, but i know if u had it, u need it.

Re: CRX Instrument Cluster Swaps
88-89 & 90-91 arent interchangable. as for the new one you got, just swap the face and internals over to your old one.
