Do you mean the starter itself or the system? Which motor?

no diagram

i can explain your starter but i have no diagram, your starter should be mounted up under the front of the engine it's usually a black cylinder and has a bold protruding from it with 2 wiring sets on this bolt and a nut holding them tight, on top of your starter intergrated into your starter is your solenoid, the starter is basic unles you want to know how to rebuild it yourself then i can't help you but it is easy to locate under your engine most likely 6 to 8 inches long and 8 to 10 inches in diameter with the solenoid irding on top which looks like a cylinder with 2 rounded ends. other than that order a book on rebuliding starters. you can follow the positive wire form your battery to your starter if you have further trouble finding it
