bomz intake problems

I Have just purchased a bomz racing cold air intake for my 99 cavalier with the 2200 engine. is their anyone out there that has this intake installed on their car or someone you know has it? i am having problems getting it instaslled right. pics would help alot.

its an ebay item, what were you expecting somthing from AEM, Injen, RDFABS, Induction dynamics quality wise?

My thoughts exactly. I think that your problem with installing a bomz intake is that its a bomz intake. Getting the stock shit off isnt hard, look at what its replacing and pull that shit off. If it doesnt fit, get a new one.

have you stripped it all the way to the tb/ you'll probably need the plastic piece that sit's on the tb

just map it out..i ordered an AEM CAI and it didnt come with installation info and all i did was take the peices and placed them in different areas spinning the pipes flipping, interchanging until i found the way it all fits up..its not hard..you just gotta play around with it

I didnt expect it to be of exceptional quality, i just cant get it to fit right. the rep from bomz racing said its suppose to install to the plenum that is attached to the TB. Im gonna play with it a little more, if i cant get it to fit im sending it back. thanks for your for your feedback.

i bought a bomz short ram for my 2002 lancer oz rally and it fit fine. just because its ebay doesnt make it crap. I notice immediate sound and power increase so it work u just gotta work with it.
